Learning for Life Workshop Series
Using Switches in the Classroom
When working with students with physical disabilities, do you find it challenging to determine what switch to use, where to put it, and what to do with it once you have it?
This session will begin with an overview of the variety of available switches and provide you with information on how to conduct a trial using the switch within the classroom. You will be given resources for free or low cost switch accessible computer games and software, switch accessible software for math, reading, and writing, and ways to use a switch away from the computer.
Participants will have an opportunity to try switches and see the software in action.
Half Day Session Cost: $69
