Learning for Life Workshop Series

Webinar: Web 2.0 in the Classroom

woman seated at laptop computer smilingTechnology surrounds our students today. In this fastpaced, media-saturated world, we need to use new tools to engage students and facilitate learning. This session will focus on using WIKIs, podcasts and blogs in the classroom to generate curricular materials. Using the Web 2.0 tools described above, our students can move from a passive role (observers of information, consumers) to a more active role (creators of content) within the learning environment.

Three Part Series: $59
Tuesdays, October 12, 19, and November 2, 2010
Fridays, April 22, 29, May 6, 2011
3 to 4 p.m.
