Donna Spillman-Kennedy, MS, CCC-SLP
Augmentative Communication Specialist

Donna Spillman-Kennedy, MS, CCC-SLP is an Augmentative Communication Specialist for Advancing Opportunities, Inc. and is a certified NDT (Neuro-Developmental Treatment) therapist. Donna has dedicated her career to helping individuals with complex communication needs meet their full potential. She has provided assessment and treatment services in private and public schools as well as in the home to children and adults with developmental and language disabilities. Donna has worked with individuals with multiple disabilities who present with various medical diagnosis, motoric and sensory challenges as well as intellectual disability.

Over the past 19 years has been an adjunct professor at three different Universities teaching augmentative communication as well as other courses to both undergraduate and graduate students. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for New Jersey Speech-Language and Hearing Association (NJSHA) and has been the Continuing Education chairperson and Continuing Education Consultant for the past 16 years. Donna has also served on the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) Continuing Education Board.
