PRC Springboard

The Springboard is a portable, lightweight digitized speech, dynamic display communication aid from Prentke Romich. It offers a bright, clear color display, USB connectivity for fast memory transfers and importing WAV (sound) files, a secure digital card slot, and an external microphone input. SpringBoard can be used with 4, 8, 15, 32 and 36 location Minspeak programs, and can also be configured using optional PCS symbols, to create a simple page based communication system. It comes with 50 minutes of digitized speech, though this can extend to 6 hours by varying configuration and has a normal operating battery life of 8-10 hours (under normal use).
