ChatPC-II

The ChatPC is a portable, hand-held speech generating device (SGD) that features a color dynamic display along with both synthesized and digitized speech output. It contains a few pre-programmed vocabulary sets. In addition, over 3,000 Mayer Johnson PCS symbols are included for customizing and creating your own pages. The size and color of the keys can be customized. Messages can be spoken using the built-in DecTalk speech synthesizer, or you can record digitized messages. All customizing can either be performed on the ChatPC itself, or on a Windows computer using the included Clinical Support software.
