We’d like to share two assistive technology stories that made us smile today. The first is from The New York Times; it details how physical therapist Michael Konstalid creates accommodations for students from scraps he finds in the basements of New York’s public schools.

The second comes from author and teacher Heather Kirnlanier’s blog, Star in Her Eye. The blog chronicles her experiences as the mother of Fiona, a beautiful little girl with Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome.
